Jeff Webb Cheerleading is a well-known businessman, author, and entrepreneur from Shelby County, Tennessee. The International Cheer Union, sometimes known as Cheer, was founded in 2004. In 2007, the organization's founder Webb, who had previously worked with the National Cheerleaders Association and the Universal Cheerleading Association, was elected president.
More than 7.5 million athletes use Cheer across the world. The company is a proud member of the Association for International Sports for Everyone member under president and founder Webb. The International Cheer Union has obtained international governing entity status as a nonprofit organization. Its goals and objectives are to develop cheerleading as a sport.
The Human Events:
The senior news editor for the website Human Events is named Webb. Human Events is a long-running news and analysis publication established in Washington, D.C... Its name is derived from the first clause of the American Declaration of Independence. In 2020, Webb, a business owner, author, and executive joined Human Events as its senior news editor.
Its creators first published Human Events as a print newspaper in 1944. In 2013, it switched to just publishing digitally. Webb co-publishes the website with executive opinion editor Will Chamberlain and also serves as its senior news editor.
Co-publisher Webb oversaw Human Events' 2022 acquisition of The Post Millennial, a Canadian online news publication.

Varsity Brands' precursor, Varsity Spirit, was founded in 1974 by former CEO and founder of Varsity Brands, Jeff Webb Cheerleading. Varsity Brands, the parent firm, currently owns Varsity Spirit. Up until 2018, Webb headed Varsity Brands as CEO. After then, he served as chairman of the corporation until 2020.
Based in Memphis, Tennessee, In terms of cheerleading, dance teams, and performing arts innovation, Varsity Spirit is a world leader. With its educational camps, contests, and other events, Varsity Spirit engages with over a million athletes yearly.
Webb resigned from Varsity Spirit and Brands to concentrate on the International Cheer Union and other projects, such as Human Events.
Until 2020, Webb presided over Herff Jones. The corporation is heavily involved in elite collegiate and professional sports, including cheering, and has its corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. Academic Background:
At Norman, the third-largest city in the so-called Sooner State, south of Oklahoma City, Webb attended the University of Oklahoma, a renowned public research university. Established in 1890, it offers a comprehensive university education in a private college environment. The university has three sites in Oklahoma and gives students a chance to study abroad at several foreign institutions.
The University of Oklahoma is where Webb obtained his bachelor's degree in political science and government. He became a prominent campus leader while a student and worked closely with the school's cheerleaders. Because of his commitment, he was able to work for the National Cheerleaders Association while still a university student.
Webb continued his involvement with the National Cheerleaders Association after he finished his studies at the University of Oklahoma. His continued engagement with the association would eventually lead to the start of his entrepreneurial career. He then resigned from the National Cheerleaders Association to found the International Cheerleading Association and Varsity Spirit, the forerunner of Varsity Brands.
Participation in Charities:
Jeff Webb Cheerleading, a well-known author, businessman, and entrepreneur, strongly commits to philanthropy. He has collaborated closely with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for more than ten years. The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a global leader in understanding, managing, and treating pediatric malignancies and other serious diseases.
Also, he has contributed significantly to the Special Olympics movement. The largest sports organization in the world is Special Olympics. It provides year-round training and activities for children and people with disabilities. There are already more than five million users across more than 170 nations.
Earlier, Webb was a steadfast supporter of the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon, which is no longer broadcast. The Muscular Dystrophy Association received much-needed funding thanks to the annual telethon. The nonprofit Muscular Dystrophy Association is still dedicated to helping people with neuromuscular illnesses.

Webb is recognized as having perhaps the greatest impact on the growth and development of cheering as a sport. He was also responsible for getting cheering recognized as an official Olympic sport. He is now lauded for having solidified the sport's global popularity and is still highly regarded as a leader in cheerleading.
The best-selling book American Restoration: How to Unchain the Great Middle Class was written by Webb, an author. The 192-page book details the author's efforts to make cheering an accepted worldwide sport. It also lists some measures the author believes are necessary to realize the potential of the American middle class.

Jeff Webb Cheerleading has several interests and pastimes outside of his career as an entrepreneur, author, corporate executive, and philanthropist. Boating, environmental protection, duck hunting, and one-wheeling are a few of these pastimes and interests.
Father-of-two Webb tries to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. He was raised in Shelby County, Tennessee, where he was born. He still makes his home in the Volunteer State today, where he and his Labrador Retriever dog reside in Memphis beside the Mississippi River.
